梦游记

Life is Dream Walking; I dream Walking in my LIFE^^

singapore VS malaysia- life standard

hahaha, seems i have come here for almost one month, then i think i can do some comparisons between Malaysia and Singapore, especially the standard of life.

1.the toilet

M'sia-the toilet for the public in malaysia is dirty, untidy, low standard at all(with the water pipes, and not even mirrors for some,no toilet paper,no toilet paper)...hahaha.terrible >.<
Sing'-the toilet is surely clean and tidy, with the checking of the workers there each hour or 2 hours, the toilets are always filled with toilet papers, tissue selling machine, the water pipe is also the automatic one, some even have auto toilet...OMG...after all,I love Orchard's female toilet. It is sooo standard! so pretty inside and i don want to come out,can you believe it!? It is beautiful, with the make up tables(of course is marble de) and mirrors, the designs are so nice~awesome~m'sia dont even have this type of toilet!totally 5 stars for me.

2.the salary vs good's price
Talking about the life standard, sure we will talk about the salary and the good's prices.

M'sia- the salary is.........LOW,but the good's prices are HIGH! I give an example: if i am a waitress, with a salary of RM 550,and I want to buy a handphone, but it costs RM660. -_-!!! is that possible for me to buy a handphone? hahaha, the answer is no.
Sing'- the salary is higher than in malaysia, hahaha, for sure, and the good's prices are lower(if you dont convert it to RM)hahaha.for example: I am a waitress, with the salary of $1100,and I want to buy the handphone for $300,it that possible?sure is yes, right? so,this is what I mean, the salary VS good's prices.

3.vehicles
For sure, there are lots of differences with the vehicles in West M'sia and East M'sia.Anyway,I am just discussing on what I had seen and \what I know.hahaha.

M'sia-(east m'sia) the buses are teruk...hahaha,dono how many years they drive it and dono whether they service it or not.The buses also have no air-cond and beside that, there are chewing gums and litters anywhere in the bus.when the bus moving,it seems like it is going to break into little parts.hahaha(too old liao).anyway,I know now Kuching has new bus services, the green bus,but i am not sure whether Kuchingians will take bus.hahaha.What's more, the cars...the old old car,i think can be at my daddy's age already, hahaha, still moving on the road.Alamak~hahaha, and 1 more, there is no MRT or LRT in Kuching! hahaha.

Sing'- the buses and MRT services are all use the service  of ezlink card, really convenience and easy, just a "tit' then everything will do.No need insert coins and wait for the tickets or give the money to the driver or assistant and waiting for them to tear the ticket to you. Both types of vehicles are with air-cond,clean and tidy, just sometimes we have to squeeze when peak time.haiz, all sorts of things and people's behavior you can see.
I was shocked when I first see the taxi here.hahaha,no one is the lousy car, they even have the taxi that the car is Merz.hahaha.Do you dare to ask for the taxi like this?hahaha.and the taxis are with the taxi counting meter in counting how far your destination is,so there will be no doubt in cheating you or unfair things happen.

Anyway,I still prefer to sit in car rather than MRT or bus.hahaha.I miss you, car!

4.nursing room

M'sia- there is no such facility in Malaysia,so you can see mothers doing things for their babies very openly.hahaha.I am still wandering will Malaysia's government builtt this some day?

Sing'-When I first come here,I dont even know what is nursing room.hahaha.after some days then i know, that is for mother and baby.So nice, the facilities for them are all there. So all mama just have to bring their bottles, napkins and powder for their little children, thats all.hahaha.

yeah, for now I just can think of four differences that are abit obvious.i am not saying that Malaysia is not good, just it is lost if compare to Singapore.Anyway the Malaysia food is the best compared to Singapore's.hahaha
have a nice day.
good luck
